MacTex® AR
MacTex® AR is used in paving applications and acts as a waterproofing and stress relieving membrane within the pavement structure.
It is made from a nonwoven needlepunched geotextile made from 100% polypropylene staple filaments. The polypropylene is stable within a pH range of 2 to 13. MacTex® AR resists ultraviolet deterioration, biological deterioration, rotting, and naturally encountered acids and bases.
MacTex® C2
MACTEX® C2 is a high strength bi-directionally oriented composite multi-function geotextile. It is made from a polyester woven knitted geotextile (produced by mechanically interlooping yarns by means of warp knitting technology) in combination with a nonwoven filtering geotextile. It is used in separation and reinforcement applications. MacTex® C2 has also a limited in plane draining capacity.
MacTex® N
MacTex® N are high quality nonwoven geotextiles manufactured from virgin high tenacity polypropylene fibers assembled by a needlepunched treatment only. The product is suitable for all general geotextile applications including filtration and separation.
MacTex® P
MacTex® P are high quality nonwoven geotextiles manufactured from virgin high tenacity polypropylene fibers assembled by a needlepunched treatment and thermocalendered. The product is suitable for all general geotextile applications including filtration and separation. Additionally, its thickness and weight enable it to be used very successfully as a protection layer for geomembranes in landfills.
MacTex® W1
MacTex® W1 geotextiles are planar woven structures manufactured weaving in the warp and the weft directions polypropylene tapes. They are used for general soil and ground stabilisation applications, where a dual, separation and reinforcement function may be required.
MacTex® W2
MacTex® W2 geotextiles are planar woven structures manufactured weaving in the warp and weft directions high tenacity polyester yarns. These high strength woven textiles can provide soil and ground stabilisation functions. Being made from polyester, the fibres do not creep as much as polypropylene, and can therefore be used for longer term applications.
